Job Description:
The purpose of the class is to assist the public in using library facilities and services. The class is responsible for shelving all library materials, assisting customers in locating materials or information, maintaining the magazines and newspapers and/or other general library tasks. The class works according to set procedures under direct supervision.
Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or GED. Requires at least six (6) months of experience in a library or a similar position in customer service. Will work 25 hours per week. Days and hours Monday through Thursday between 9:00am – 8:00pm and every 3rd Saturday 9:00am – 5:00pm.
