Job Description:
The purpose of the class is to read and record utility meter readings. Under general supervision, performs outdoor work involving the reading and recording of city utility meters. Duties include excessive walking, bending and driving in inclement weather conditions. Although the employee works independently and is often physically removed from supervision, duties are performed within the framework of pre-established policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of experience working outside performing general physical labor, general knowledge of city streets and a valid State of Florida Class E driver license.
