Staff Recommendation
Staff recommends approval of the Revocable License for Leesburg High School Athletic Booster Club, Inc.
Analysis
The attached license with Leesburg High School Athletic Booster Club, Inc. is required by code for use of the public property located at the north east corner of Dixie Avenue and Canal Street. The property will be used for parking to raise funds for the Leesburg Lightning during Bikefest. Licensee will obtain public liability insurance with limits of not less than One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00), with the City shown on the policy as an additional insured.

1. Approve the Resolution for the Revocable License for Leesburg High School Athletic Booster Club, Inc.
2. Other such action as the Commission may deem appropriate.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LEESBURG, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN REVOCABLE LICENSE WITH THE LEESBURG HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB, INC. FOR USE DURING BIKEFEST OF CITY PROPERTY AT THE NORTH EAST CORNER OF DIXIE AVENUE AND CANAL STREET AS PER ATTACHED EXHIBIT A; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. (LHS ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LEESBURG, FLORIDA:
THAT the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Revocable License with the Leesburg High School Athletic Booster Club, Inc. whose address is 907 Webster Street, Leesburg, Florida 34749, for City property located at the north east corner of Dixie Avenue and Canal Street as per attached Exhibit A.
THAT this resolution shall become effective immediately.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Leesburg, Florida, at a regular meeting held the 12th day of April 2010.
