Subject:                      Resolutions Amending the Budget for Fiscal Year 2009-10 and Adopting the Budget for Fiscal Year 2010-11 for the US Highway 441/27 Community Redevelopment Agency

Staff Recommendation:

Staff recommends approval of the amended budget for fiscal year 2009-10 and the budget for the fiscal year 2010-11 for the US Highway 441/27 Community Redevelopment Agency.

Analysis:

As seen in Attachment A, Fiscal Analysis for the three year period ending on August 31, 2010 there will be approximately $11,996,362.66 available that can be carried forward and spent in fiscal year 2010-11.  As shown in attachment B, the total funding appropriation for the US Highway 441/27 CRA for fiscal year 2010-11 Budget is $937,870.  The projects planned for the fiscal year are as follows:

• Infrastructure Improvements within the US Highway 441/27 corridor including but not limited to relocation of utility infrastructure related to Perkins to Griffin FDOT project.
• Mast arm improvements at various intersections within the CRA corridor
• Debt Service

Options:

1.  Approve the amended budget for fiscal year 2009-10 and the budget for fiscal year 2010-11 for the US Highway 441/27 Community Redevelopment Agency; or

2.  Such alternative action as the Commission may deem appropriate

Fiscal Impact: 

A budget is necessary to appropriate funds.
