SUBJECT:                  Resolution authorizing  execution of a permanent gateway sign easement for the District Board of Trustees of Lake-Sumter Community College at the north intersection of US441 and College Dr.    

Staff Recommendation

Staff recommends approval of the requested easement for the referenced property by the City of Leesburg for the District Board of Trustees of Lake-Sumter Community College.

Analysis

The attached Permanent Gateway Sign Easement with the District Board of Trustees of Lake-Sumter Community College is requested for a new gateway on US441 and College Dr. for the college.

Options         

1.         Approve the Permanent Gateway Sign Easement with the District Board of Trustees of Lake-Sumter Community College.

2.         Other such action as the Commission may deem appropriate.

Fiscal Impact

There is a minimal positive fiscal impact to the City with this action.
