Subject:                      Resolution authorizing a Master Service Agreement to provide communications services to G&T Conveyor Company, Inc.

Staff Recommendation:

Staff recommends approval of a resolution authorizing a Master Service Agreement for communications services with G&T Conveyor Company, Inc.

Analysis:

The Master Service Agreement provides the general terms and conditions under which the customer will place orders for communications services from the City’s Communications Utility.  This party is a previous Communications Utility customer who is returning after a two-year absence.

Options:

1.  Approve the resolution, or

2.  Such alternative action as the Commission may deem appropriate

Fiscal Impact: 

This agreement will have no fiscal impact.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LEESBURG, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A MASTER SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH G&T CONVEYOR COMPANY, INC. FOR THE PROVISION OF COMMUNICATIONS SERVICES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LEESBURG, FLORIDA:

            THAT the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement  with G&T CONVEYOR COMPANY, INC., whose address is 476 SOUTHRIDGE INDUSTRIAL DR., TAVARES, FL  32778 under which communications services are provided.

 THAT this resolution shall become effective immediately.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Leesburg, Florida, at a regular meeting held the twentieth-fifth day of July 2011.
