Subject:                      Resolutions accepting a quit claim deed of property fixtures and a bill of sale from Highland Lakes Property Owners Association, Inc.

Staff Recommendation:

Staff recommends acceptance of a quit claim deed of property fixtures and a bill of sale for property fixtures from Highland Lakes Property Owners Association, Inc.

Analysis:

At the December 13^th, 2010 City Commission meeting, staff was authorized to move forward to accept ownership and operation of the above referenced system.  The Highland Lakes Property Owners Association prepared legal descriptions for the lift station parcels.  The City Attorney has reviewed and recorded these documents.  Staff is now presenting the formal quit claim deed and bill of sale to inform the Commission of the completion of the property transfer.  Environmental Services will take over responsibilities for the system on September 27, 2011.

Options:

1.  Approve the resolutions showing transfer of property, or;

2.  Such alternative action as the Commission may deem appropriate
