Staff Recommendation:
Staff recommends approval of the License
Agreement for
Bloom’s Baking House, Inc.
Analysis:
The attached license agreement with Bloom’s Baking House is
required by code for the use of City sidewalks for a sidewalk cafe. $156.00
is the cost for a one-time fee paid to the City of Leesburg for a license with
a five year term.
Options:
1. Approve the Resolution for the License
Agreement for Bloom’s Baking House, Inc.
2. Other such action as the Commission may
deem appropriate.
Fiscal Impact:
There is a
minimal positive fiscal impact to the City with this action.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LEESBURG, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH BLOOM’S BAKING
HOUSE, LLC FOR USE OF THE PUBLIC SIDEWALK IN FRONT OF 610 W. MAIN STREET AS PER
ATTACHED EXHIBIT A ; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF
THAT the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute a License Agreement with Bloom’s Baking House, LLC whose address is 610 W. Main Street, Leesburg,
Florida 34748 for a portion of the public sidewalk in front of the referenced
address as per attached Exhibit A.
THAT
this resolution shall become effective immediately.
