Subject:                      Purchase Requisition #37490 to Truevance Management, Inc. for the Information Technology and Library Services Departments

Staff Recommendation:

Staff recommends approval of purchase requisition #37490 to Truevance Management, Inc. for the Information Technology and Library Services Departments for $71,318.03.

Analysis:

This purchase is for the installation of all necessary data cable and associated hardware in the Leesburg Public Library.  The purchase will include the vendor providing all necessary materials, labor, equipment, tools and supervision needed to complete the installation.

This purchase is being made using the Lake County School Board bid and contract #2629DB for Electrical, High Voltage & Low Voltage – Contract Labor.  This contract was competitively bid by the School Board Procurement Division.

Options:

1.  Approve the purchase as stated above for $71,318.03; or

2.  Such alternative action as the Commission may deem appropriate
