Subject:                      Set Dates for Commission Workshops

Staff Recommendation:

Staff recommends approval of April 2, 2007 and May 7, 2007 as future workshops.

Analysis:

R. W. Beck has reported they will complete their financial analysis by late March.  Therefore, staff requests a workshop  April 2^nd  for the purpose of receiving the Committee’s report on bonding alternatives. 

Staff advises the Capital Improvement Plan will be completed and ready for Commission review and action by the end of April.  We  recommend a workshop  May 7^th to review the Capital Improvement Plan and to discuss removing, replacing, modifying, or adding new projects to this list.

Options:

1.  Approve April 2, 2007  and May 7, 2007 as workshop dates; or

2.  Such alternative action as the Commission may deem appropriate
