1.      APPROVE CITY COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES:

2.      PRESENTATIONS:

 

A.     Recognition of Years of Service:  Zachary Williams (Public Works) for 20 years and Timothy Lindsey (Recreation) for 20 years.

 

B.     Request to place cornerstone plaque at new library from Joe Price, Leesburg Masonic Lodge #58 F&AM

 

3.      PROCLAMATIONS:

 

A.     Proclamation recognizing Larry E. Taylor for 26 years of dedicated service to the City of Leesburg. (Supporting Docs)

 

4.      CONSENT AGENDA:

Routine items are placed on the Consent Agenda to expedite the meeting.  If the Commission/Staff wish to discuss any item, the procedures is as follows:  1) pull the items(s) from the Consent Agenda; 2) vote on items remaining with one roll call vote, 3) discuss each pulled item and vote by roll call

 

A.     PURCHASING ITEMS:

 

1.      Purchase Requisition #37867 to Coleman Technologies for computer network switch hardware for the Information Technology Department to be installed at the new Leesburg Public Library. (Agenda Memos, Supporting Docs)

 

B.     RESOLUTIONS:

 

1.      A resolution of the City Commission of the City of Leesburg, Florida, authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a Logo License Agreement with Z-Coffee Corporation; and providing an effective date. (Agenda Memos, Supporting Docs)

 

2.      A resolution of the City Commission of the City of Leesburg, Florida authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a Lease Agreement with Hurley Properties, LLC for space at Leesburg International Airport; and providing an effective date (Agenda Memos, Supporting Docs)

 

3.      A resolution of the City Commission of the City of Leesburg, Florida, authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to rescind the amendment to Change Order No. 1 with Censtate Contractors, Inc. for a change order to Purchase Order #521747 previously approved by Resolution 7881 at the February 26, 2007, Commission meeting; and providing an effective date.  (Agenda Memos, Supporting Docs)

 

4.      A resolution of the City Commission of the City of Leesburg, Florida, authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute Amendment No. 1 to Task Order No. 3 to Boyle Engineering; and providing an effective date. (Agenda Memos, Supporting Docs)

A.     Second reading of an ordinance rezoning approximately .26 acres located north of West Main Street, lying east of North Oakland Street and west of North Moss Street, in Section 27 -19-24, from City R-2 (Medium Density Residential) to RP (Residential Professional).
