The Development Review Committee recommends approval of the proposed subdivision plat for Ashton Woods. See attached copy of the Development Review Committee recommendations dated October 5, 2007.
The plat is situated in Sections 29 and 30, Township 19 South, Range 25 East within the existing municipal boundary and generally located north of Sunnyside Drive and east of Fern Drive. The plat consists of 116 single family residential lots. The project is owned by Ashton Woods, LLC, and is being developed for a single family residential development.
The proposed plat meets the requirements of the City of Leesburg Land Development Code and Florida Statutes. The division of land is also consistent with the current zoning district of R-3 (High Density Residential) and the Future Land Use Map designation of Low Density Residential.
1. To approve or disapprove the proposed plat.
2. Other such action as the Commission may deem appropriate.
There is no fiscal impact to the City.
