Subject:                      Resolution authorizing an agreement for fiscal year 2007-08 Civic Grant funding with the Leesburg High School Band.

Staff Recommendation:

Staff recommends the execution of the agreement for fiscal year 2007-08 Civic Grant Funding with the Leesburg High School Band.

Analysis:

Leesburg High School Band requested funding of $4,590.  The budget approved September 24, 2007, recommended $2,633 for fiscal year 2007-08.  The attached agreement formalizes this commitment.

Options:

1.  Approve the agreement  with  the Leesburg High School Band for fiscal year 2007-08 Grant Civic Funding, or

2.  Such alternative action as the Commission may deem appropriate.

Fiscal Impact: 

A total of $200,000 has been included in the approved fiscal year 2007-08 budget for this purpose.
