December 31, 2007, the two
Anthony Cages and John L. Johnson’s terms expired. Mr. Cages was reappointed February 11, 2008,
and Mr. Johnson has decided not to serve another two-year term. Chet Blackmon

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
LEESBURG FINDING THERE IS A VACANCY ON THE POLICE OFFICER'S RETIREMENT TRUSTEE
BOARD DUE TO EXPIRATION OF TERM
S; APPOINTING CHET BLACKMON
TO FILL THE VACANCY
WITH TERM TO EXPIRE DECEMBER 31, 2009; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LEESBURG, FLORIDA:
THAT the City Commission of the City of Leesburg,
Florida finds there is a vacancy for one City-appointed member on the Police
Pension Board due to expiration of John L. Johnson’s term
expiration December 31, 2007;
THAT the City Commission hereby appoints
Chet Blackmon as a regular member of the Police Pension Board to fill the
vacancy, said term expires December
THAT this resolution shall become effective immediately.
