The Development Review Committee recommends approval of the proposed subdivision plat for Royal Oak Estates, Sixth Addition. See attached copy of the Development Review Committee recommendations dated August 21, 2007.
The plat is situated in Sections 28, Township 19 South, Range 24 East within the existing municipal boundary and generally located south of South Street (SR 44) and east of Casteen Road. The plat consists of 24 single family townhome lots on approximately 3.24 acres. The project is owned by K & L Development, Inc., and is an addition to the existing subdivision of Royal Oak Estates, a single family townhome residential development.
The proposed plat meets the requirements of the City of Leesburg Land Development Code and Florida Statutes. The division of land is also consistent with the current zoning of R-2 (Medium Density Residential) with a Conditional Use Permit for a PUD (Planned Unit Development) and the Future Land Use Map designation of High Density Residential.
1. To approve or disapprove the proposed plat; or
2. Other such action as the Commission may deem appropriate.
There is no fiscal impact to the City.
