The Development Review Committee recommends approval of the proposed subdivision plat for Arbors of Lake Harris Addition. See attached copy of the Development Review Committee recommendations dated March 19, 2008.
The plat is situated in Section 26, Township 19 South, Range 24 East within the existing municipal boundary and generally located east of U.S. 27, south of South Street, and north of Lake Harris. The replat divided former Tracts F-1 and F-2 and created Lots A - G. Lots A – G have been platted to provide additional area for building on existing lots to the east. The project is owned by K & L Development, Inc.
The proposed plat meets the requirements of the City of Leesburg Land Development Code and Florida Statutes. The division of land is also consistent with the current zoning of R-2 (High Density Residential) district and the Future Land Use Map designation of Low Density Residential.
1. To approve or disapprove the proposed plat.
2. Other such action as the Commission may deem appropriate.
There is no fiscal impact to the City.
