Subject: Resolution authorizing an increase in the Wrecker Allocation System rate structure.
Staff Recommendation:
Staff recommends approval to increase the Wrecker Allocation System rate structure to coincide with the rotation wrecker rate structure of the Florida Highway Patrol and the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office rotation wrecker rate structure is as follows:

No fiscal impact. The fees paid to the wrecker service companies do not go through the City of Leesburg.

RESOLUTION NO._______________
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LEESBURG TO AUTHORIZE AN INCREASE IN THE ROTATION WRECKER RATE STRUCTURE IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY OF LEESBURG ORDINANCE 13-5 AND FSS 125.0103 AND FSS 166.043.; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LEESBURG, FLORIDA:
THAT the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with any and all wrecker companies placed on the Leesburg Police Department’s rotation list, for wrecker operations requested by the Leesburg Police Department
THAT this resolution shall become effective immediately.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Leesburg, Florida, at a regular meeting held the _8th____ day of ___September______ 2008.
