Subject:                      Resolution Adopting the Pay Grades for Fiscal Year 2008-09

 

 

Staff Recommendation:

Staff recommends approval of the attached resolution to adopt the proposed pay grades for fiscal year 2008-09, effective October 1, 2008.

 

Analysis:

The changes approved via the budget process are included in the attached pay grades. 

 

Options:

1.  Approve the resolution adopting the pay grades listed as Exhibit “A”, or

2.  Such alternative action as the Commission may deem appropriate

 

 

Fiscal Impact: 

All pay grades continue to have the same spread from minimum to maximum and have been included in the proposed 2008-09 budget.

RESOLUTION NO._______________

 

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LEESBURG, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND FINANCE DIRECTOR TO IMPLEMENT THE APPROVED PAY GRADES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2008-09; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LEESBURG, FLORIDA:

 

            THAT the City Commission hereby authorizes the City Manager and Finance Director  to implement the attached 2008-09 proposed pay grades (Exhibit “A”), and

 

             THAT this resolution shall become effective October 1, 2008.

 

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Leesburg, Florida, at a regular meeting held the _25th ____ day of _August________ 2008.
