SUBJECT:                  Resolution authorizing Appointment to the Lake-Sumter Metropolitan Planning Organization’s Technical Advisory Committee

 

 

Staff Recommendation

Staff recommends approval of Senior Planner Yvette L. Brandt, AICP as an Alternate to the LSMPO’s Technical Advisory Committee.

 

Analysis

This appointment will allow the City of Leesburg to have a voting member on the TAC, when the Community Development Director cannot attend. There is no term for this appointment.

 

Options         

1.         Approve staff recommendation to appoint Ms. Brandt; or

2.         Other such action as the Commission may deem appropriate.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LEESBURG, FLORIDA, APPOINTING SENIOR PLANNER YVETTE L. BRANDT, AICP AS AN ALTERNATE TO THE LAKE-SUMTER METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION’S TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LEESBURG, FLORIDA:

 

THAT the City Commission hereby appoints Senior Planner Yvette L. Brandt, AICP as an Alternate to the LSMPO’s Technical Advisory Committee; with no term limit.

 

THAT this resolution shall become effective immediately.

 

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Leesburg, Florida at a regular meeting held on the 11th day of May, 2009.
