A.    Recognition of years of service: Pat Mackey for thirty-five years in the Finance Department (Meter Readers); Louis Saucier for twenty-five years in the Finance Department (Meter Readers); Sean Stafford for twenty years in the Finance Department (Customer Service); Chris Freeze for twenty years in the Finance Department (Accounting);  Tyler Freeze for four years as a Volunteer in Accounting; Tim Allen for twenty years with the City (Gas); Michael Thompson for twenty years in the Recreation and Parks Department; Randy Mort for twenty-five years in Recreation & Parks Department; and Leah Lang for ten years with the Library

 

B.     President Sara Whiting and Vice President Rob Sitz, from the Florida Collegiate Summer League, will present the City Commission with the 2009 FCSL Championship Trophy. The Leesburg Lighting defeated the Clermont Mavericks 5-1 in the FCSL Championship August 3rd at Tropicana Field in Tampa.

1.      A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Leesburg, Florida authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a Grant of Easement granting an easement to South West Florida Water Management District for the purpose of installing a monitoring well; and providing an effective date.
