Public Art for the New Leesburg Library

New Library Art The Friends of the Leesburg Library invite you to a fundraising kickoff reception for public art at the new library. This will begin a fundraising effort for public art and children's and young people's entrance. The reception will be held on June 20, 2006 from 5 to 7pm at the Leesburg Center for the Arts at 429 W. Magnolia Street in Historic Downtown Leesburg. Food will be provided by the Leesburg Area Chamber of Commerce and the bar will be provided by the Leesburg Partnership.

The public art will include 2 bronze sculptures. One of the children reading on a bench and the other of Annie Oakley and her dog, Dave, who are known to have spent much time in Leesburg.
