Mote-Morris House Historian/Tour Guide Assistant

Description: Conduct tours of this historic house on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month.
Duties include: Conduct tours and answer questions from the public. Heritage Society members preferred but not required.
Hours: Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month.
Frequency: Varies according to availability.
Location: Mote-Morris House.

Completion of medical history form, pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check may be required.

Scorekeeper

Description: Position will keep score for seasonal team sports; to include basketball, baseball, softball, soccer and football; (Background in these sports is helpful, however, training is available).
Duties include: Scorekeeping for various sports which may include recording fouls, points and penalties, operating an electric scoreboard and timer and keeping parents/participants informed of score. Assist staff with supervision of program, setting up for practices and games, and ensuring proper care of program/facility. Assist in closing down the activity area and collecting equipment at the conclusion of the activities. Possess good written and oral communication skills.
Hours: Evenings Monday through Saturday.
Frequency: Seasonal. Sessions are usually held two or three times per week.
Location: Leesburg, Sleepy Hollow and Susan Street recreation complexes and Pat Thomas Stadium.

Volunteer Coach/Coaching Assistant

Description: Assist with organization and sports training for Youth Sports Development Program.
Duties include: Organize and assist with training youth in the following sports: football, basketball and baseball. Background in these sports is helpful, however, training is available.
Hours: Evenings, Monday through Friday and Saturday.
Frequency: Sessions usually are held two or three times per week.
Location: Sleepy Hollow, Susan Street, Pat Thomas Stadium and Leesburg Recreational Complex.
